Charges to be filed in honours inquiry?
According to today's Times, it looks as though the final nails for Blair's coffin have now been purchased from B&Q,
The article states that: "Three people are likely to face criminal charges arising from the 11-month police investigation into claims that Downing Street improperly offered honours in return for donations."
Apparently the Crown Prosecution Service lawyers have received the files from the police whih indicate that charges should be brought against three people, although the inquiry still hasn't been conlcuded yet.
There is also rumours galire in the dead tree press, and on the Blogsphere that Blair will be interviewed a third time, and maybe NIT as a witness.
Who knows, but it's going to be an interesting week.
Apologies: should read "NOT as a witness", I'm suffering from fat fingers syndrome.
