Kennedy to make a comeback?
According to newspaper reports this morning specualtion is rife that Charles Kennedy will challenge uncle Ming for his job back, as Lib Dem leader, later this year.
Although Charles has stated that the idea is "fanciful", he hasn't exactly done much to refute the story.
So is the party beginning to show how close it is to Labour, by turning on itself, just like they are doing?
They have to remember though, that it was the Parliamentary party that got rid of him and voted in uncle Ming, but the party faithful wanted to stand by Charlie. It would be a bit like England asking Sven to return, because they had made a mistake (I hope to god that never happens).
The party conference season could prove to be quite interesting this year.
